A student deals with bullying
Adapted from the popular Chinese novel In His Youth, in Her Beauty, the coming-of-age movie Better Days tells a story of bullying and survival.
A high school girl Chen Nian (Zhou Dongyu) is bullied by her classmates after her best friend commits suicide. Her life at the school becomes miserable. One day, while going home, Chen Nian inadvertently saves a life of a street thug Xiao Bei (Jackson Yee). After that, he swears to protect her life at all costs.
