Two days after the government asked all bars to close, there are very few tourists left in the Silom area.

Main photo: Patpong Market at 9.30pm. Vendors think the market will be able to stay open for the coming weeks, but some are less sure that they will continue to open their stalls if there are no customers.

Below: Local wildlife bravely search for food without the usual foot traffic.

One of only two businesses currently open on Patpong Soi 2. Foodland is 'open 366 days' and has fully-stocked shelves.

Le Bouchon's owner says this is the worst business has been on Patpong Soi 2 in his restaurant's 24 years.
