Monday: 3 new imported Covid cases

Thailand on Monday recorded 3 new coronavirus cases, all imported, taking the total number of infections to 3,787. No new deaths were reported.

Two of the new cases were Thai women and the other a Kenyan woman.

The Thais returned to the kingdom from Sweden on Oct 24. One of the women was found to have contracted the virus on her first test on Thursday, and the other on her second test on Friday.

Neither showed symptoms.


The third new case recorded on Monday was a Kenyan woman who arrived in Thailand via the United Arab Emirates on Oct 19. The novel coronavirus was detected in her body on her second test on Saturday. She was asymptomatic.
