Smile. Thai women volleyball players beat Japan
Thai sports fans are smiling today. The Thai women’s volleyball team has beaten Japan, one of the best teams in the world, in the 17th Asian Women's Volleyball Championship being played in Nakhon Ratchasima.
It was a difficult match. The Thais won three sets and lost one but, except for the first, each set was close in score. The scores were 25-15, 25-23, 23-25, 30-28.
The Thai ladies were especially happy because they had lost to Japan in their previous two matches. On Tuesday, the Thai team meets Vietnam at 2pm at Chatchai Hall. The match will be broadcast live on Channel 7. Are you going to watch?
