Opera Siam is kicking off its 18th season with "The Princess Concert" that will make every little girl's dream of becoming a cartoon princess come true, at Thailand Cultural Centre, Ratchadaphisek Road, on Dec 16 at 4pm and Dec 17 at 7.30pm.

Held to introduce the joy of symphonic music to a new generation of concertgoers, the concert will showcase vocal talents of some of Thailand's most popular singing stars, including Gam Wichayanee, Ging Muanpair, Arm Kornkan and Kacha Nontanun, who will present unique renditions of popular "princess music" from classic animated films to an ever-wider audience.

Gam is known for giving voice to the song of Elsa in the Thai edition of Frozen. Arm has been recognised as an accomplished vocalist since his performance in the musical version of The Overture. Together, they will deliver a soaring Thai version of the Tangled soundtrack.

There will also be classical music with a princess twist, like Tchaikovsky's Sleeping Beauty, adapted into the animated film of the same name, in addition to songs from other popular animated princess films.
