Flure Feat. Pod (Feb 27)

The season of love is still not over, at least for ATMOS bar and restaurants, which are bringing together two renowned alternative rock icons, Flure and Pod Thanachai Ujjin of Moderndog, for a special live concert packed with love songs on Thursday night.

As part of ATMOS's Season Music Series, the show comes under the "Love Season" theme and will be divided into two sets. First, Flure will perform their best romantic rock numbers, including Plian (Change) and Ruedoo Thee Chan Ngao (My Lonely Season), before Pod will sing some of the Moderndog's best-known love songs, such as Gorn (Before), Baang Sing (Something) and Khob Khun (Thanks). Fans can even expect a special jam session between the two.

The Sleeves (Feb 28)

On Friday night, go see UK indie rock band The Sleeves visit Bangkok for their debut live show at the hip bar Parking Toys with supporting local acts including BulletGuyz, Manhattan and Sixty Ninth.

Formed and based in Hong Kong, The Sleeves are an independent British-born alternative-rock band consisting of vocalist Keith Goodman, guitarist Pete Gordon, bassist Stu McCutcheon and drummer Matt Coleman. The band wearing different music styles on their sleeves: punk, classic rock, throwback 80s indie, infectious pop melodies.

The Sleeves' second album, Deliverance, was recorded in Cambodia, mixed in Hong Kong and mastered by Ray Staff at Air Studios in London. They have played at regional festivals in Asia, including Clockenflap (Hong Kong), Spring Scream (Taiwan) and Summer Noise (Manila), and supported international artists like Gary Numan, Peaches and UNKLE.

"The Sleeves Live In Bangkok" takes place at Parking Toys, Prasert-Manukitch Road 29, Lat Phrao. First show starts at 8.30pm. For more information, call 097-098-6922.

Menno de Jong (Feb 29)

Don't miss your chance to experience a legend of trance music one last time, as the celebrated Dutch DJ Menno de Jong makes his way to Bangkok for one last musical journey, "Menno Solo The Finale", on Saturday night at Samdai Club, Ratchadaphisek Road.

Hailing from the Netherlands and celebrating a successful 20-year career as a trance producer and DJ playing at venues and festivals across the world, Menno's style effortlessly blends and blurs the lines between trance, psytrance and progressive into his own unique sound.

Menno recently announced his retirement from touring in order to find more time for personal growth with his Farewell Tour, which covers dates in Australia and Asia. So mark your calendars for this Saturday night to dance the night away and say goodbye and thank you to Menno one more time.
