Social distancing can't stop us from doing what we love. That's why we have seen many musicians around the world taking to social media platforms to play music live for their fans, straight from their homes. Thailand is no different.

Recently, a large group of Thai artists has joined hands to express their love for Thai classical dance in a more unique way. And the result is "Fon Yoo Baan" or "Dance from Home", a six-minute clip currently on YouTube. It shows fon leb or fingernail dance performed by more than 80 dancers, from amateurs with a passion for this form of northern Lanna culture to professionals.

Initiated by Lanna and contemporary dancer Ronnarong Khampha from Chiang Mai, the project is aimed to promote the "stay-at-home" campaign and compiles video clips sent by his fellow dancers from across the country and also overseas who wish to share their happy moments dancing alone in a time of social distancing.

They agreed to film themselves performing the elegant dances -- some in complete traditional Thai costumes and others in casual outfits -- in their bedrooms, living rooms or even in front of their houses.

The dance clip has been shared on Asia Society New York's website, alongside three other clips of traditional dance from India and Indonesia created to promote social distancing and hygiene in their own countries.

After enjoying the clips, viewers are also encouraged to contribute to the fight against Covid-19 by donating money to the following hospitals:
