Dive into tradition for future generations

Yellow gold Oris Carysfort Reef Limited Edition with the caseback featuring a motif celebrating the Coral Restoration Foundation's milestone of 30,000 corals.

In 1965, Oris created its first diver's watch featuring a unidirectional rotating bezel with a timer scale as well as bold, luminescent numerals. Today, that heritage and expertise is expressed in Oris Divers, Aquis and Prodiver collections.

Based on the 43.5mm Aquis diver's watch, the Oris Lake Baikal Limited Edition is available in 1,999 pieces, marking the year Russia passed the Baikal Law to protect Siberia's vast freshwater lake.

An engraving of the lake appears on the caseback of the stainless steel model with a dial in gradient blue with luminous materials.

Oris has partnered with Lake Baikal Foundation to support the Point No.1 environmental water monitoring project, with sales of the limited edition funding the centre's work and the long-term health of the lake.

The Swiss brand has also released the second and third Carysfort Reef Limited Editions to support the works of the Coral Restoration Foundation. Housed in a yellow gold case, the second model will mark the foundation's milestone in planting over 30,000 corals on Florida's Carysfort Reef.

Also based on the Aquis timepiece, it is actually the first Oris diver's watch in solid 18-carat gold, of which three from a limited edition of 50 pieces were auctioned, to raise funds for the foundation.

The automatic mechanical watch has a GMT, or second time zone, function that can be read off against a 24-hour chapter ring on the dial, while a laser-engraved 24-hour scale on the bidirectional rotating bezel can be used to indicate a third time zone. The bezel insert is made of black and blue ceramic, designed to indicate day and night for an additional time zone

Available in 2,000 pieces, the third Carysfort Reef Limited Edition is in stainless steel, matched with a bracelet or orange rubber strap.

The latest Oris collections are available at its pop-up booth at Siam Paragon Watch Expo 2020, which runs until Aug 2, at the Hall of Fame.
