Even though Paron School of Art has had to close its doors to physical classes due to a new wave of Covid-19, it has redesigned its teaching to continue sharing beautiful experiences to art enthusiasts of all ages.

Here are two of their offerings that will keep you creative in tough times. The first is the "Art & Wine Workshop", which will present freestanding classes on four different themes and encourage everyone to line up a bottle of their favourite wine for a fun and new experience at home.

Each class runs for three hours from 6pm to 9pm at a price of 1,600 baht, including a home delivery art pack which contains all the materials required and a link to the live video tutorial.

The four themes include "Thai Roosters" this Friday, in which participants will play with colour pencils and watercolours; "Forest Landscapes" on Saturday with water-soluble oil pastels as the medium; "Drag Queen Pop Portraits" on Jan 29, in which participants will learn to paint with acrylics; and "Figures Of Folklore" on Jan 30, which will focus on ink pen and charcoal.

The second offering is "Develop Your Painting", a four-week programme that will run every Monday evening from Jan 18 to Feb 8, from 6pm to 9pm.

The classes are suitable for teens and adults who are experienced or returning student artists. Each three-hour session will have two mini-workshops to allow participants to explore different practices in a single sitting.

They will learn how to paint Spanish tapas, reptile surfaces, dynamic interiors, vintage illustrations and vegetable blossom using gouache, acrylics, inks and watercolour.

The fee is 5,200 baht including a home delivery art pack and a link to 12 hours of live video tutorial.
