On display are a series of unique portraits created by Saverio Lucci, a prolific contemporary artist and designer from Italy, who moved to Thailand almost a decade ago to bring his vision and passion for arts to Bangkok.
Reputed for his creations of female faces and figures, Lucci captures women's true beauty and strength using valuable materials and refined colours in his elegant paintings.
According to the 65-year-old artist, women have always been his primary source of inspiration and his artworks try to capture their elevated sophistication.
Among his 16 works on show are paintings of various techniques -- ink on paper, oil on wood, oil on canvas and encausto on wood; as well as large-scale printings on chiffon fabric that are reproductions of some of his past and new works.
Both hotel guests and visitors are invited to celebrate women and discover his Renaissance-inspired yet contemporary art at Mondo restaurant, free of charge.
A themed fashionable high tea is available daily between 11.30am and 4.30pm while a la carte food and beverage options are served throughout the day.
