The 109-minute Romanian movie is directed by Alexander Nanau who exposed a healthcare fiasco in Romania following the tragic 2015 fire at The Colectiv nightclub in Bucharest, which killed 27 people and left 180 injured after fireworks used during a concert there ignited non-fireproofed insulation foam, triggering a stampede.

When people found out that the club had no fire system or fire escape, they were outraged and took to the street in mass protests, which resulted in a change in the government.

Four months after the tragedy, however, 37 burn victims died with unexplained reasons in apparently ill-equipped state hospitals. This is when doctors and nurses decided to expose some truths they had witnessed to journalist Catalin Tolontan and his team of investigators at the Romanian newspaper Gazeta Sporturilor.

This led to a series of shocking revelations about vast healthcare fraud and corruption in the government.

Colectiv was praised as one of the greatest movies about journalism ever made. It was nominated for Best Documentary and Best International Feature at the Oscars.

It's now available to watch online via Doc Club on Demand, an online screening service by Documentary Club, for 120 baht.

The club has in stock many other documentary films covering stories and issues of interest from all over the world. The viewing fee is generally 60 baht per movie (120 baht for selected new movies) and 30 baht for shorts. All foreign documentary films come with Thai subtitles and English subtitles are available for all Thai documentary movies.
