The Myanmar Film Collective is a group of anonymous young filmmakers in Myanmar determined to keep making films in the aftermath of the military coup as an act of creative resistance. 

What's it about?

How does it feel to be forgotten by the world? After the military coup in 2021, these film diaries of young opposition activists in Myanmar use the cinema screen to communicate with the world in a different way than allowed TV news.

Evil Dead Rise

Coldplay: Music Of The Spheres: Live At River Plate

What's it about?

The band announced a special worldwide cinema presentation of their spectacular “Music Of The Spheres World Tour”, filmed during the 10-night run at Buenos Aires’ River Plate stadium at the end of 2022. The concert film will be shown in cinemas across the globe on April 19/23.

Why watch it?

The film includes a host of footage, which wasn’t shown during the live broadcast, when it screened in a record-breaking 81 countries. The cinema presentation will also include an exclusive behind-the-scenes short film featuring new interviews with the band. The concert sees the band perform classic hits from across their career, including Yellow, The Scientist, Fix You, Viva La Vida, A Sky Full Of Stars and My Universe in a stadium bursting with lights, lasers, fireworks and LED wristbands. It also features guest appearances from multi-Grammy winner H.E.R., and Jin of BTS, who performs alongside Coldplay for the live debut of his record-breaking single The Astronaut.

Hidden Blade

What's it about?

Follows the story of underground workers, who risked their lives to send intelligence and defend the motherland, set after Japan's attack on Pearl Harbor when the Wang Jingwei regime declared war on Britain and the US.

A masterful Tony Leung and a breakout performance from Yibo Wang.

Guy Ritchie's The Covenant

Directed by Guy Ritchie.

Who's in it?

Jake Gyllenhaal, Alexander Ludwig and Antony Starr.

What's it about?

The movie follows US Army Sergeant John Kinley and Afghan interpreter Ahmed, where Ahmed saved Kinley’s life. When Kinley learns that Ahmed and his family were not given safe passage to America as promised, he must repay his debt by returning to the war zone to retrieve them before the Taliban hunts them down first.

Operation Fortune: Ruse de Guerre

Jason Statham, Aubrey Plaza and Cary Elwes.

What's it about?

Special agent Orson Fortune and his team of operatives recruit one of Hollywood's biggest movie stars to help them on an undercover mission when the sale of a deadly new weapons technology threatens to disrupt the world order.
