K-pop enthusiasts will be thrilled to learn that renowned girl group 2NE1 will stage a tour for their 15th anniversary starting in Seoul this year.

After putting their music career on hold for many years, 2NE1 is finally ready to return. A recent post on YG Entertainment's social media features a new image of 2NE1 members alongside the words 'Welcome Back'. Following this, Yang Hyun-suk, the founder of YG Entertainment, announced the exciting news on YG Entertainment's YouTube Channel that 2NE1 will reunite for a 15th anniversary concert tour. The tour will start in Seoul in October with the next stops in Osaka and Tokyo in Japan in November and December, respectively.

2NE1 consists of four talented members -- CL, Park Bom, Sandara Park and Minzy. The group rocketed to fame after releasing two singles, Fire and I Don't Care, in 2009. The pop dance and reggae song I Don't Care won Song of the Year at the Mnet Asian Music Awards. They also secured the Best New Female Artist award the same year.

Additionally, the group has had many chart-toppers including I Am The Best, I Love You, Missing You and Come Back Home. Unlike other girl groups which have a feminine look, 2NE1 is known for their confident and independent image. Their captivating stage presence is a combination of powerful live vocal, individual charisma and connection with audience.
