After a sold-out solo show in Bangkok last November, K-pop idol Chanyeol will make a comeback with “2024 Chanyeol Live Tour: City-scape In Bangkok” at Thunder Dome, Muang Thong Thani, on Oct 26 at 5pm.
Presented by SM True, this is part of the first live tour by South Korean multi-talented artist from the nine-member boyband Exo after he released Black Out, his first mini album for which he co-wrote the lyrics and presented with his unique style. Launched late last month, the album comprises six tracks across various genres.
Chanyeol is widely recognised as a versatile artist who contributes to the success of many hit songs both in front of and behind the scenes. He participated in writing the lyrics for his solo singles which reflect his profound artistic thoughts and emotions.
They include SSFW (2019) which compares love to the recurring seasons; Tomorrow (2021), an acoustic pop song which contemplates the future; and Good Enough (2023), a synth-pop that soothes the soul.
The collaborative single Stay With Me, that he sang with South Korean singer Punch for the hit TV drama Guardian: The Lonely And Great God, has captured the hearts of fans worldwide and has become the most viewed K-drama OST music video on YouTube with over 495 million views.
Chanyeol’s new live tour will kick off with two shows in Seoul tomorrow and Saturday, before he heads to various cities across Asia including Ho Chi Minh, Manila, Bangkok, Tokyo, Fukuoka, Osaka, Nagoya, Jakarta and Hong Kong.
Tickets for the Bangkok show are priced from 2,600 baht to 6,500 baht and will be available for sale on Sunday from 11am at Counter Service at all 7-Eleven stores and via allticket.com.
