Create the unexpected

Well-known all over the world as a maker of entertaining, colourful and exciting watches in tune with the times and lifestyle trends, the leading Swiss watchmaker brand Swatch has recently launched another creative, colourful and very stylish watch collection called Swatch POP.

The collection is inspired by popular culture, comprising nine watches in designs guaranteed to let the imagination run wild. Three stunning black and white pieces -- POPdancing, POPmoving and POPlooking -- salute graphical purity. They are joined by a trio of coloured creations -- POPalicious, POPiness and POPpingpop. Neon meets pop art with a splash on POPover, POPtastic and POPthusiasm.

Creativity has always been at the heart of Swatch. POP is creativity taken to the next level. Every watch comes with a clip to attach it wherever your imagination takes you. Out of the box, a POP offers five ways to tell time as it can become a wristwatch, a desk clock, a pocket watch, a necklace or even a wall clock. There's a great range of possibilities for them to be shown off.

POP it your clip: You can attach the watch with a special clip to wherever your imagination takes it.

POP it your chain: With a metal chain, you can add some extra coolness to your swag.

POP it your plug: With a magnificent magnifying desk clock stand, the watch is a colourful eye-opening object.

POP it your wall: With four matching wall watches, your wristwatch POPs to something bigger.

Swatch, launched in 1983 by Nicolas G. Hayek, is renowned for its creative partnerships and strong support for art, artists and young talents across the broad spectrum of contemporary art. For more than 30 years, Swatch has invited painters, photographers, filmmakers, sculptors, fashion designers and others from a wide range of disciplines to create art on "the world's smallest canvas". By taking its amazing Swatch watches to millions around the world, the Swiss watchmaker has built what may be the world's largest art gallery on the wrist. Convinced that artists can make the world a better place, today Swatch runs The Swatch Art Peace Hotel in Shanghai, where artists from around the world are provided accommodation and studio space to create in total freedom. Since 2011 more than 150 artists from 39 countries have been invited by Swatch to live and make art in the hotel for up to six months at a time.

Swatch stores are at CentralWorld, Siam Center, Siam Paragon, The EmQuartier, CentralPlaza Lardprao, Mega Bangna and Central Westgate.
