Sexy singer Warattha "Noey" Imraporn is putting a brave face on problems with the family of the pilot she wants to marry after one of his relatives lashed her in the media.

Noey, of the band Neko Jump, and a Playboy model, was left in shock after an unnamed relative of pilot Rit Karchai warned through the media he would be disinherited and banished from the family home if they tied the knot.

He would also be forced to change his surname, the report said, as his family would no longer want to be associated with him.

"No one blesses the union, no one wants her as a daughter-in-law, and no one from our side will go to the wedding," the relative told the Daily News.

Rit's family, who have met Noey, are said to believe the pair are unsuited, and were dismayed to hear she was pregnant and the pair planned a shotgun engagement on Aug 13.

"First she told us she was pregnant and the two would have to marry in a hurry, then she told us she wasn't. So which is it? The next we heard they were taking a trip together to Oman. We were relieved," the relative said.

While denying she is pregnant or plans a hurried engagement, Noey confirmed she and Rit plan to marry in the New Year.

The remarks have stung Noey deeply, according to sources, though she is battling on with the support of family and friends.

"I feel sad but still strong. I would like to thank my supporters for sticking by me even in difficult times," Noey said.

On her side of the family, her mother and younger sister say they have no problems with Rit and if the pair want to marry it's up to them. They have been going out for three months.

Noey's mother Waraporn Imraporn said her daughter had yet to discuss marriage plans, and she would like the pair to carry on seeing each other first. Friends had warned her that Rit was a ladies' man, but he replied he was getting older and can change his ways.

Her younger sister, Charada "Piglet" Imraporn, said Noey was holding up well.

"She and Rit are OK ... ultimately it is a matter between two people, and I know they love each other very much. He has been to our place. I don't know if his family has problems with Noey, but I think it is an adult thing," she said.

Rit's younger brother, singer Pitt from the band C-Quint, said he doubted his family would go to the extent of cutting him off.

Asked whether his parents objected because Noey had posed for daring modelling shots, he said elders have the right to think such things. But on the whole his parents were broad-minded and let their children decide.

Later in the week, Noey said she thought the family's objections stemmed from a misunderstanding she was pregnant.

"We haven't been together long, and I have only just been to his place. Rit's mother was lovely. I don't get to meet Rit that often, as he is busy flying," she said. Rit has yet to comment on his would-be bride's problems with his family.

Punpun dumps production house

Actress Sutatta "Punpun" Udomsil has parted ways with the production house which handles her career following a media storm after she abused an actress on social media.

Punpun announced last week she would leave Nadao Bangkok after controversy over the well-publicised social media gaffe. She was taking the step herself, after reflecting on her misdeed.

While holidaying with friends in Phuket on July 28, Punpun abused actress Cheranut "Namcha Yusanonda" in a social media post.

She put up a partial picture of the actress and called her a "whore" in crude vernacular. A moment later she deleted it then put up a full facial shot of Namcha, leaving fans in no doubt who she meant.

Media reports suggested Punpun felt jealous after Namcha drew close to actor Chutavuth "March" Pattarakampol, her co-star in a recent series, Lovey Dovey.

March and Punpun, who appeared together in the teen series Hormones, are former sweethearts who broke up in February. They denied a third hand was involved.

Namcha admits she is close to March, but insists they are just friends, as she has a boyfriend.

Speaking after her return from Phuket, Punpun said she regretted the post, and apologised to Namcha, friends and family for the poor judgement.

She would seek leave of her contract with Nadao, as she needed time to reflect on her actions.

"I had heard a story about March and her. I don't know if it was true, and it was all in the past. I should not meddled in her personal life, but I am hot tempered and find it had to control myself," she said.

She had spoken to her father, who said she lacked for nothing in life, but appeared to enjoy inflicting damage on herself.

"I was with friends at the seaside, and wasn't thinking properly. I did it on the spur of the moment and when I look at it now am mystified by what I did," she said.

"I have made one mistake after another, and it is time to take stock of my actions."

Punpun's fledgling career looked shaky three years ago when, aged 16, she was caught taking methamphetamines with a friend. Her father asked her to leave the industry temporarily as punishment.

Nadao's senior artist manager, Jongjit Inntung, said the firm had decided to ask Punpun to leave, but she beat them to it.

"She made the decision without consulting us, but we are happy with it. We can still work with her, and would like her help promoting her new lakorn.

"Punpun has high potential, but is still a youngster. We would like her to keep her senses about her and exercise some caution," she said.

Nuch takes action over web 'stalker'

Model Nantapak "Nuch" Phonwarat is taking legal action after a former admirer started threatening her on the internet when she spurned his advances.

Nuch, known for her modelling spreads for FHM magazine, complained to Suthisarn police in March about the male model. She said the threat of legal action failed to deter him.

"I am telling you right now, you will never have happiness in this life. I am warning you for the last time. If you want to take action, go ahead," read one recent threat.

Nuch, who on Friday followed up her initial complaint with a visit to Technology Crime Suppression Division police, said she met the model at work about a month before and they started seeing each other.

Eventually she found out he had a girlfriend, so called it off. But he kept contacting her, with the result his girlfriend found out.

"He and his girlfriend started abusing and threatening me on social media, and would not let up," she said.

"The court issued a notice saying it would accept the case, and attached a notice to his house on May 29. But they kept threatening me, claiming they had not received it," she said.

They have also turned up at events, taking pictures of her which they post with abusive remarks on social media.

Nuch said she wants the case to serve as an example to others. Police are investigating.
