Only a few months after their headline tour in the US, Deaf Havana, an English alternative rock band, are making their way to Thailand to deliver their critically acclaimed live performance at Live Arena RCA, Rama IX, on Saturday Aug 31 at 6pm.

The "Deaf Havana Asia Tour 2019 -- Live in Bangkok" will be the last stop in Asia for the rock quartet, which was formed by three high-school friends in 2005, with two of them remaining in the current line-up. The band wrote a number of songs and demos and released their first album, Meet Me Halfway, At Least, in 2009 before they embarked on several tours across the UK and Europe in the following year.

Their second album, Fools And Worthless Liars, was released in 2011 and included four singles -- I'm A Bore, Mostly; Little White Lies, Leeaches and Hunstanton Pier. The album ranked at No.49 on the UK charts and received critical acclaim.

Deaf Havana then shifted the goalposts in the following albums. Their 2013 Old Souls had a bold, classic rock bent while 2017's All These Countless Nights was a hook-laden exercise in sophisticated alternative rock, suggesting the band's fresh new direction to create something new for their fans as well as the music industry.

Setting themselves a challenge, the band's latest album Rituals embarked on a new journey, delving deep into a daring dose of arena-synth pop-rock with lyrical imagery painted by the dreamily smooth vocals of James Veck-Gilodi.

For the upcoming Bangkok debut concert, fans can expect to listen to the band's hit songs, old and new, delivered by the current members James Veck-Gilodi (lead vocals), Lee Wilson (bass guitar), Tom Ogden (drums) and Matthew Veck-Gilodi (lead guitar).

Tickets cost 1,500 baht (1,200 baht for early birds) and can be purchased from eventpop.me.
