Coffee lovers in the North will take delight in aromatic coffee and tea during the Amazing Brew And Blend@Chiangrai fair, which will take place at Lantham Lansilpa Tin Phaya Mengrai in Muang district of Chiang Rai from Friday until Sunday, 2-9pm.

Organised by the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) to promote Chiang Rai as the country's largest source of coffee cultivation, the weekend fun will gather more than 30 of the best tea and coffee shops from across the country to offer their signature cups.

Chiang Rai's own Buffalo Coffee shop will present its famous menu made from buffalo dung coffee, which is as expensive as 10,000 baht per kg, while Gong Valley shop from Ranong will be serving its aromatic cups made from Robusta coffee beans manually roasted and ground in the traditional way.

Also not to be missed are the unique recipe from Erabica Coffee shop from Nan, which perfectly blends local coffee beans with local wampee fruits, as well as the signature 5-Dragon tea drinks made from mountaintop tea leaves from Lampang's Wideberry shop.

This is also an opportunity to taste Okasama coffee presented by three leading baristas -- Pi Piyachart (aka Drip King) from Gallery Drip Coffee, Toh Chukiat from Sawanbondin Farm, and Pai Kamontham from Heart Made Coffee and Eatery Songkhla.

Local delicacies, healthy cuisines and outstanding dishes from online restaurants will be available alongside craft works and distinctive products from unique communities nationwide.

Visitors are also invited to get relaxed in a coffee spa, paint a coffee mug, have their future predicted through gypsy card reading, constellation and coffee and tea particles.

Both local artists and leading singers will take turns to perform on stage throughout the three days. They include New & Jew, Lula, Season Five, Tom Isara, Kangsom Tanatat, the Parkinson and SY51.

Visitors are encouraged to bring their own containers and they will get special discounts from the coffee shops.
