Barely two weeks from now, Grammy nominated, multi-platinum singer/songwriter Shawn Mendes will return to take Bangkok by storm with his second concert at Impact Arena, Muang Thong Thani, on Oct 1.

This is part of the 21-year-old Canadian artist's fourth world tour, "Shawn Mendes: The Tour", held to promote his self-titled album, which was released last May and debuted atop the US Billboard 200, making him the third-youngest artist to achieve three consecutive No.1 albums.

The third album's lead single, In My Blood, topped the Billboard Adult Pop Songs chart, making him the first and only artist to have four No.1 singles in the chart before turning 20 years old.

The album includes four other singles -- Lost In Japan, Youth, Where Were You In The Morning? and Nervous -- all of which charted in several countries. In My Blood, Lost In Japan, and Youth were certified gold in Canada.

Mendes won a string of awards, including 13 Socan awards, 10 MTV Europe Music Awards, eight Juno Awards, eight iHeartRadio MMVAs and two American Music Awards. Late last year, he was nominated for two Grammy Awards: Best Pop Vocal Album for Shawn Mendes and Song of the Year for In My Blood.

The upcoming concert will be the third show, after Seoul and Shanghai, in his Asia leg which covers nine dates. He will then embark to perform in Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Jakarta, Manila, Macao and Tokyo. The entire world tour spans more than 100 dates throughout this year in Europe, North America, Asia, Australia, New Zealand and Latin America.

Tickets cost 2,000, 3,000, 3,500, 4,000 and 5,000 baht, and can be purchased from Thai Ticket Major outlets (visit or call 02-262-3838).
