The Bangkok Post Cycling Championship is back. This year it is taking place in the eastern province of Rayong on Nov 30 and Dec 1 (race day).

There will be two rides of different distances cyclists can choose to compete in: the 100km and 64km.

Both routes run through natural greenery, rubber plantations and other farmland. There will, of course, be flat and hilly sections to test the riders' power, stamina and tactics. Both routes begin and finish at the Park Adventure Land, a scenic lakeside resort northeast of Rayong downtown.

In each race, participants will be grouped according to their competitive level (Open), gender and age. Minimum age is 16. Those younger than 18 need written permission from their parents.

The fees are 600 baht per rider in the 100km competition and 500 baht in the 64km ride. Every participant must show up on Nov 30 to collect the race pack.

The champion in each category will be awarded a yellow winner's jersey. They also will receive a trophy and a cash prize. The top rider in the Open male category, for example, will receive 10,000 baht.

Registration can be made online only. For details, visit shorturl.at/irHSY or the Bangkok Post Cycling Championship page on Facebook.
