Street Seoul in the heart of Bangkok
The Korean wave continues to wash through Thailand. To strengthen relations with Korean business partners and promote Korean culture and products to Thais, the Pano Industry Company has teamed up with The Gravity Motion for the Seoul Street Festival Thailand 2019, taking place on Saturday and Sunday at CentralWorld. The event will feature performances from popular Korean and Thai acts as well as food, fashion, beauty and travel goods for sale.
The headliner for Saturday is the quintet TST, with Kim Jae-hwan as the main event on Sunday. TST will bring their brand of vibrant pop with such songs as Wake Up and Paradise. Fans of Jae-hwan will look forward to powerful singing on ballads like Begin Again. They will be joined by Thai artists Gliss and C-Cray to help entertain the audience.
Korean street food will be on offer, such as the stir-fried rice cake tteok-bokki and the steamed bun hoppang. Attendees are welcome to watch or take part in the eating competition "Seoul Street Mukbang Championship 2019", which will be led by YouTubers Yang Soobin from South Korea and Poonatat "Peach" Wiwatpattanaanun from Thailand.
Also taking place over the weekend is the final round of "Seoul Street K-Pop Cover Dance Contest 2019", featuring among the judges the well-known choreographer Chindanai Bhuwakul.
More than 30 Korean models led by Lee Sang Gun and Oh Si Won from Ghost Model Agency will present the latest Korean and Thai fashions including collections from Massimo Dutti.
Package tours and air tickets to South Korea will be on offer at special prices. Attendees who register to play games at the event will have a chance to win airline tickets to South Korea for both days.
