'We Love Pets", the much-anticipated fair for lovers of birds, cats, rabbits and hamsters, will return to CentralPlaza Rama II with a myriad of fun activities running from 10am to 8pm this weekend.
Organised by Versele-laga by Pamornchai Supply, the Embassy of Belgium, Mahidol University's Faculty of Veterinary Science and Suanpalm Farmnok, this is the ninth edition of what is said to be the country's biggest gathering of pet clubs, especially bird lovers.
The Rama II Hall on the fourth floor of the shopping mall will be transformed into a big community where club members will bring their beloved, furry, little friends to have fun together.

Among the participating clubs are the Freestyle Flying Club Thailand, Thailand Lovebird Club, Thai Forpus Club, Budgerigars Club Thailand, Siam Gouldian Finch Club, Ringneck Mania, a group of cat breeders, a group of hamster slaves and Happy Bunny Hub.
The two-day fair will be packed with many activities including the bird freestyle flying competition to vie for a trophy from the Embassy of Belgium; the biggest bird beauty contest open to five species -- love bird, Forpus, ring-necked parakeet, budgerigar and Gouldian finch; a rabbit with healthy teeth contest; and a turtle and rabbit race competition.
To correspond with this year's theme of "Finding The Secrets", all visitors are encouraged to dress their pets in fancy costumes and also enter them into a costume contest held under a similar theme of "The World Of Magic".

There will be a contest where cat owners are required to call their feline contestants out of "The Magic House Of Lara" to win a prize; as well as the "Cat Fun Show 2019" contest, which is open to healthy and lovely kittens of any breeds, with two age categories -- four-eight months and eight months and older.
Hamster fans are invited to create a lovely cage during the "DIY Hamster Living Home" contest while many other kinds of rodents such as chinchilla, gatsby, degu and squirrel will also be featured at the fair.
The fair will be a platform for those new to raising a household pet to come and exchange knowledge with experienced pet owners. There will also be free pet medical check-ups by leading pet hospitals including Animal Space Hospital, Premiere Pet Hospital, Panalai Veterinary Hospital, and Huai Khwang Pet Hospital.
