With the success of the first "Austrian Wine Week" last year, the second edition will arrive to please diners in Bangkok and also Chiang Mai from Nov 4-10.

The collaboration between Wine Garage and Tastes of Austria and participating restaurant partners will extend beyond 20 venues to get local diners familiar with the exciting red and white varietals from Austria.

Diners around Bangkok can enjoy both classical styled Riesling and Gruner Veltliner in hotels and restaurants, and also experience the lively unconventional expressions in wine bars and the many innovative Thai restaurants led by young and talented chefs.

The following highly regarded names in the industry will be pouring at least five wines that can be sampled before ones make a choice, including 100 Mahaseth, About Eatery, Appia, Cocotte, Fireplace Grill at Inter Continental Hotel, Front Room at the Waldorf Astoria, Funky Lam, Harvest, Kang Kao, Le Du, Nahm, Osha, Pesca, Quince-Eatery & Bar, Riedel Wine Bar, Siwilai City Club, and Soulfood Mahanakorn.

The additional highlight this year will be "Rock Me Amadeus", a party-style Schnitzelfest with wines, at the Crystal Box, Gaysorn Village, Phloenchit Road, on Nov 7 at 6.30pm.

A four-course menu by Austrian chef Felix Shellhorn and Austrian wines will be served. DJ Justin Mills will be on the deck with a special violin performance.
