Roast revamps their menu with new dishes but with the same brunch goodness

For eight years, Roast has been synonymous with mouth-watering, brunch comfort food -- and it still is. So when they said that a menu revamp was in the works, it was a little worrying and a little exciting. Change is always a little uncomfortable and the fear of saying goodbye to favourite dishes is a painful ordeal. Okay, I exaggerate, but still, it hurts. But despite Roast changing up 50% of their menu, I can tell you right now that you can rest easy because they've embraced the new while still keeping the familiar stuff that made them a brunch icon in the city.

From pastas and salads to meats and sweets -- if you've been to Roast, you know they've got almost everything to satisfy your craving. Their menu remains true to that. If you've got a hankering for pasta, give the Rigatoni Pesto (B320++) a try, a great mixture of zesty and salty, as well as a creaminess provided by the whipped ricotta. If you want a classic, you can never go wrong with their creamy Carbonara (B280++). Meanwhile, the Grilled sea bass (B550++) is a great dish to share for two or three, salted and cooked just right so that all you have to do is pull away and it'll come off. If your sweet tooth needs some loving, look no further than their French toast (B280++). Not overly sweet, this perfect excuse to eat sweets for breakfast will definitely hit all the right spots. Alternatively, you can also go for their classic Blueberry ricotta pancakes (B320++), which will never wane in style or deliciousness.

With two new locations at CentralWorld and theCommons Sala Daeng and this new menu, Roast is definitely here to stay -- and we wouldn't have it any other way.
