Opened since 1962, the property is known as one of the pioneer hotels in the northernmost province. Today it is run by Sutasinee Jitsakul, the fourth generation of the family. She renovated the old buildings to be a boutique hotel and reduced the total number of rooms by half to 52 rooms and suites.
She still wants to preserve the old architecture as a memorial of the hard work of her great grandfather. The renovation was finished last June.
