Take a blast to the past with the Biggles Big Band, as they have announced a concert tour in Thailand from Saturday until Feb 14.

Biggles Big Band is a jazz orchestra from the Netherlands that plays classic hits from the great swing era. This orchestra consists of conductor Adrie Braat along with 25 jazz musicians, a renowned jazz singer Clara Baker and a wonderful string quartet.

The Dutch ensemble will be performing all around Thailand including Bangkok, Udon Thani, Nakhon Phanom, Ubon Ratchathani, Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai and Hua Hin.

In order to get a better understanding of Thai and Netherlands culture, the band will conduct workshops with Thai music students and also have Thai musicians to join the orchestra. The co-operation between Thailand and the Netherlands will unify the two kingdoms through music.
