A collaborative rebirth

Its name meaning life, Vie Hotel Bangkok breathes new life into its eponymous spa through a renovation and a collaboration with Organika.
Founded by Thai-Danish actress Sririta Jensen, Organika operates its own Secret Spa in Sukhumvit 49 and retail outlets in various locations. The partnership brings its holistic therapies to Vie Spa by Organika, housed on the hotel's 10th floor.
Near BTS Ratchathewi, Vie is one of two stylish boutique hotels, under the MGallery Hotel Collection, in the City of Angels. The sister Hotel Muse Bangkok is located in Lang Suan.

"Since Vie Spa and Organika share a similar DNA, this is a synergistic partnership. Moreover, we are supporting a local brand and Thai products, whose organic ingredients along with aromas render effective therapies," said spa manager Chonlatorn Ngampong.
Organika's "Touch Of Scents" concept is translated into aromatherapy, driven by signature scents captured in five product lines, displayed in the spa's reception area.
The spa menu features signature packages and aromatherapies based on three of them: Secret Rose Garden, Ocean of Dreams and Memoirs of Sunrise.
"Spa-goers can easily choose from these three distinctive scents, whose aromatherapy provides different outcomes through the blend of essential oils," Chonlatorn said.

Passion fruit, lemon, orange and tangerine essential oils mingle in the uplifting Memoirs of Sunrise while lavender, rosemary and orange are among seven essential oils in the calming Ocean of Dreams.
Organika's product range extends to herbal tea, with Memoirs of Sunrise as the welcoming tea.
Sipping the tangy tea along with discussing treatment options with the therapist will come to a conclusion of which one will best address current needs.
"A detailed consultation is important in order to understand a client's needs," said Chonlatorn. "We will also explain the steps and benefit of the chosen therapy, to affirm that it meets their expectations. Then we go into details of the customisation, such as massage pressure and which parts of the body to focus on or avoid."
The dialogue ensures no surprises. For instance, clients will not be alarmed when the therapist lights a candle and pours melting wax, which functions like a massage oil, during the signature Organika Aromatic Candle Massage.
The Pure Aroma Massage Candle used in the treatment is actually a moisturising mix of soy butter, jojoba oil and vitamins A and E while its essential oils further fuel the aromatherapy. The massage aims to relieve tension and increase promote blood circulation while promoting relaxation and sleep.
"Absorbing well into the skin, it is not sticky," noted Chonlatorn. "The amount poured is determined by skin condition, with dry skin requiring more of the melted aromatic candle."
Taking 90 minutes, the Organika Aromatic Candle Massage (3,000 baht) is delivered with Secret Rose Garden, Ocean of Dreams or Memoirs of Sunrise aromatherapy.
It is also a treatment in the three-hour purifying Secret Rose Garden package (6,000 baht), which includes a milk bath, body scrub and a purifying rose quartz facial.
