If you want to further minimise your stay at home by not leaving the house for even essentials, fear not. Along with the big boys like Tesco Lotus, Big C, Tops, 7-Eleven and others delivering to your door, there are a few who also deliver organic vegetables and fruits.
The staying at home has resurrected the CSA box or the "Community Supported Agriculture" box. Most often this is a subscription service delivering fresh produce from farmers to consumers, directly. The produce in each box is usually organic and varies each week, and is generally dependent on the season. Due to the fact that the produce is never the same, you are highly unlikely to get tired of eating the same thing over and over again.
However, during these times things are more flexible and customers are no longer held down to the subscription service. You can visit each supplier and order what you like, if you're not one for a mystery box. Here are a few such services.
Veggie Favour
The new kid on the block, Veggie Flavour promises "the most delicious pesticide-free fruits and vegetables you've ever tasted delivered fresh to your door". Established this year, the company trains small-scale traditional farmers in rural areas close to Bangkok to produce fruits and vegetables without the use of pesticides and artificial fertilisers. The farmers are business partners, too! Currently, they offer six CSA boxes: Fruity box (B200), Kitchen box (B150), Salad box deluxe (B290), Salad box large (B190), Salad box small (B95) and Smoothie box (B250).

Le Chedi Farm
A collaboration with French vegetable grower Benoit Deloffre, who provides vegetables to Michelin-starred establishments, Le Chedi Farm grows 100% organic and sustainable vegetables in Nakhon Pathom. Their premium basket (B490) includes baby beetroots (25pcs), Parisian carrots (25pcs), Koshigaya onions (10pcs), baby white onion (10pcs), mesclun mixed baby leaf salad (100g) and organic brown rice (1kg). If you don't fancy an entire box, the produce can be sold separately, along with other produce that is not in the box.

If you love being in the kitchen, this is the best way to hone your skills. OrgBox delivers fresh organic ingredients to your door. All the produce comes from organic farmers around the country. "We are a healthy online store that strives to deliver the healthiest nutrients in the most convenient way directly to your doorstep," says the company. Apart from selling veggies and fruit, they also sell cold-pressed juices.

By ordering from Fresh Foods BKK, you are providing meaningful and fair-trade employment for people from the Klong Toey Community. Shying away from the "grocery store delivery service" description, Fresh Foods BKK refer to themselves as "a local community engagement, brought straight to your door". They shop from a network of small scale, organic vendors and make healthy, socially responsible grocery purchases on the customers' behalf, thereby creating an income for local staff and community but also stimulate and support environmentally sustainable farming practices in Thailand.

Vivin Grocery Delivery
Vivin Grocery has recently introduced their delivery service, which includes the Apero Box. A new addition to the grocery shop is certified organic vegetables from Uraiwan Farm in Chiang Mai, which offers baby carrots, turnips, radish, leeks and tomatoes, among others. The butchery offers steak haché, entrecôte and duck breast, while the bakery offers baguette Parisienne, Fruit bread, French butter croissant, which are baked fresh daily at the shop. Vivin Grocery also sells pastas. You can also order their Apero Box. A CSA package (one-time box is B650, excluding delivery fee and monthly box is B2,600, excluding delivery fee) is available at slightly discounted prices.

The most diverse CSA boxes come from Bo.Lan Grocer, the grocer of the Michelin-starred restaurant. The Essentials box (B1,600) comes with cooking staples like curry pastes and the CSA boxes come with fresh organic fruit and vegetables, and ethical proteins, which start at B800. The best thing is that the boxes included recipes, too! Their aim is to support local organic farmers and producers, and guarantee them a livelihood and a future supplying Bangkok restaurants. The CSA boxes are delivered every Wednesday and orders have to be put in by midday on Tuesday aka the day before.

Farmtastic
Organic food delivery in Bangkok and all Thailand via cooling truck, how Farmtastic describe themselves. They sell an organic delivery set, which is a mix of organic vegetable from local farms for weekly consumption. This CSA box includes mixed salads, mixed kale, cabbage, rocket, watercress, cucumber, tomatoes and eggs. Should this not be enough, you can add more or buy a la carte from their veggie, seasonal veggie and homemade products sections. For those on a liquid diet, order the juicing set. The set is a mix of organic superfood for a week like mixed kale, watercress, cucumber, carrot, tomatoes, celery, beetroots, turmeric and gotu kola or Indian pennyworth. One can also add more to this like with the CSA box.
