"MyFrenchFilmFestival", the first French-language online film festival organised by UniFrance, has extended its "Stay Home Edition" programme until May 25, offering up more than 80 features and short movies.

The "Stay Home Edition" consists of 60 short films as well as a selection of 20 feature-length films from the past 10 editions of the festival.

They are available online, free of charge, for all to escape, have fun, reflect, learn, marvel, laugh, to open a window -- even virtual -- to the world, fight against boredom and remember that cinema and culture play a beneficial role in the serious health crisis we are going through.

Subtitled in many languages, the films cover all genres from drama to comedy and romance, animation, fantasy, thriller and documentary. They are categorised under Family Affair; Love and Feelings; Portraits of Men; Portraits of Women; Teen Spirit; Kids Corner; What's Going On?; French Noir; and Doc Side.

Viewers will find solace and distraction in interesting short films such as The Last Of The Frenchman by Pierre-Emmanuel Urcun; Delectable You by Axel Courtière; A Man My Son by Florent Gouëlou; and Man's Best Friend by Vincent Mariette.

Children will enjoy many adorable creatures in short, dialogue-free animations such as A Tiger With No Stripes by Raùl Robin Morales Reyes; Minoule by Nicolas Bianco-Levrin; Sam's Dream by Nölwenn Roberts; Oktapodi by Julien Bocabeille; The Silence Beneath The Bark by Joanna Lurie; Stuffed by Édouard Heutte; and Turbopera by Fabien Meyran.
