Here's a way to get people to realise the relationship between humans and energy. Jaras Theatre: Save For Later is a performance that will take us to explore the impact of the overconsumption of energy and natural resources on our daily lives.

It will be staged by Fullfat Theatre, a Thai performance group renowned for site specific performance design, at the Multi-function Room, 1st floor of Bangkok Art and Culture Centre on Pathumwan intersection, on July 17-19.

Directed by Nophand Boonyai, this new immersive theatre features nine performers who will show why alternative energy is now a necessary solution. The show is designed to correspond with social distancing measures and all performers and crew will be wearing face masks.

Each show lasts for 45 minutes and is limited to only 10 people. The audiences should bring along their mobile phones and earphones, a power bank and a face mask or face shield. There will be eight shows on July 17 at 4pm, 4.15pm, 4.30pm, 4.45pm, 7pm, 7.15pm, 7.30pm, and 7.45pm.

The schedule repeats on July 18 and 19 with four additional shows at 1.30pm, 1.45pm, 2pm and 2.15pm on both days.

The show is part of the "Jaras: Creative Lights" project which has brought activities about alternative energy in the form of various art engagements to Bangkok Art and Culture Centre. The project is funded by the Power Development Fund, Office of the Energy Regulatory Commission.

There is no admission fee but prior registration is required. Visit facebook.com/fullfattheatre or call 097-963-2262.
