Via livestreaming, Cavallino Motors, the sole and official importer of Ferrari in Thailand, unveiled the SF90 Stradale -- Ferrari's first PHEV (Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle) model manufactured in a series.
"The number refers to the 90th anniversary of Scuderia Ferrari racing team in Formula One. The SF90 Stradale model is a perfect example of how Ferrari transfers its knowledge and expertise in racing cars to producing road vehicles," said Cavallino Motors managing director Nandhamalee Bhirombhakdi.
Vice-president and executive director Voravud Bhirombhakdi joined her in welcoming guests to an exclusive preview.
Powered by an award-winning V8 turbo engine, the SF90 Stradale is equipped with a 4WD system, which allows the car to utilise the immense power unleashed by the hybrid system.
Design-wise, it recently won Red Dot: Best of the Best Award in the cars and motorcycles category. Ferrari's track-derived "eyes on the road, hands on the wheel" philosophy took centre stage in the design and had a huge influence on the ergonomics and interior layout.
Following the virtual launch, a private viewing can be arranged until July 26, at Cavallino Motors showroom on Phetchaburi Tat Mai Road.
