Siam Paragon is transforming Parc Paragon into a foodie's paradise for the "Thai O-Cha" food festival, which is bringing together the best restaurants from across the country to serve their signature dishes for four days starting today until Sunday from 10.30am to 8pm.

Held in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture's Department of Cultural Promotion to advocate the wisdom of Thai cooking, the event is a marketplace where food lovers can indulge in traditional and authentic local and Thai food as well as signature dishes from more than 50 restaurants divided into four categories.

The first category is a collection of traditional restaurants with a history spanning at least 100 years, including Mee Krob Jeen Li at Talat Phlu and Liew Liang Seng Cantonese restaurant at Ratchawong among others.

The second category features the serving of local food such as khao chae (rice in ice water) by Mae Lek Sakidjai, Thai-style coconut macaron by Pah Boom, a variety of curry paste by Bang Sit Curry, giant mussel pancake by Heng Hoy Tod Chao Le, traditional Thai crepe by Pannathorn, and fermented pork with crispy rice by Pah Sudjai.

Yet another feature will allow guests to visit popular restaurants and enjoy favourites on offer such as deep-fried dough fritters with steamed custard from THAI catering, fruit jam dip and international dishes from Aroy Lon Fah @ Siam Paragon by Royal Orchid Dining Experience Restaurant, and Tub Li steamed bun by Jae Li.

Last but not least, the last zone presents a delicious menu of savoury dishes by stars and celebrities including Bignuts cookie by Namfon Pacharin, Oh My Gyo dumpling by Boom Supaporn, steamed egg crab by Mick Baromwut, and baked bun by Boom Kitkong.
