Acknowledging ladies' active lifestyle, Patek Philippe introduced the Twenty~4 collection for women on the go in 1999. This year, the classic "manchette" or cuff-style model has been reinterpreted in two new versions that reinforce the brand's flair for fashioning feminine watches.

Several milestones in the manufacture's history relate to women's timepieces such as the creation of the first Swiss-made wristwatch for a Hungarian countess in 1868 and the company's very first striking wristwatch, a five-minute repeater housed in a platinum case with an integrated chain bracelet, in 1916.

Near the end of the 20th century, the Swiss brand released the Twenty~4 for modern independent women who could wear the watch around the clock to complement their business or evening attire or for any other occasion.

The advertising campaign asked the question: "Who will you be in the next 24 hours?" From the very beginning, the Twenty~4 quartz model was a success and other versions followed it, including high jewellery timepieces. Responding to women's interest in mechanical watches, Patek Philippe introduced the round Twenty~4 Automatic in 2018.

The original art-deco-inspired Twenty~4 was housed in a cambered rectangular steel case with diamonds set in two rows highlighting the shape of the two-tier case. The dial featured diamond hour markers and two applied Roman numerals XII and VI.

Applied trapeze-shaped white gold hour markers and Arabic numerals 12 and 6 on a blue or grey sunburst dial give the classic Twenty~4 a contemporary look in 2020.

The grey sunburst dial is enriched by a gradation to black at the periphery. The applied numerals, hour markers and baton-style hands all have a luminous coating ensuring legibility in the dark.

Worn with a supple and comfortable metal bracelet, the latest reinterpretations are equipped with Patek Philippe calibre E15 quartz movement.

A digital communication campaign, themed "Rituals Of My Life", accompanies the launch of the two models. It highlights personal moments that punctuate the modern women's life such as me time in reading a book or engaging in activities that promote well-being.
