The Peninsula Bangkok is offering one of the most lavish and romantic ways to bid farewell to 2020 and welcome 2021 through an ultimate package dubbed "The First Class Fire Works".
This once-in-a-life time celebration, available exclusively for a group of up to four guests, features a private suite New Year's Eve gala dinner with a free-flow of Louis Roederer Cristal Brut Champagne.
The special meal is to be prepared by the hotel's Austrian executive chef Stefan Leitner. It is to showcase 5-star creations such as Petrossian caviar; poached Brittany lobster with Hokkaido sea urchin; home-made lamb agnolotti with black winter truffle; Japanese A5 wagyu steak; and golden chocolate Mandarin dessert.
The fine dining feast is followed by a private helicopter ride, offering guests a bird's-eye view of the midnight fireworks along the Chao Phraya River.
After the countdown, guests can enjoy a one-night stay in the hotel's two-bedroom Duplex Suite equipped with a private landscaped terrace.
On New Year's Day, an in-suite Champagne breakfast followed by a haute couture Margy's facial treatment at the Spa promises to give guests a sumptuous start to 2021.
The package is priced at 1 million baht, inclusive of a round-trip limousine transfer within Bangkok.
Some 188,000 baht of the package price will be donated to Operation Smile, a non-profit which provides safe surgeries to underprivileged children and young adults at no cost to address problems such as cleft lips and burns.
