The Faculty of Engineering, Chulalongkorn University, and CU Radio invite students with environmentally-conscious minds to enter the "Envi Mission Year 2" and compete for cash prizes worth 70,000 baht in total.

Held under the "Waste A Moment" concept, this is the second edition of the environment conservation project with the aim to provide a better understanding and promote sustainability in solid waste management among young people across the country.

The project is open to teams of three Mathayom students and two teachers and community leaders who will act as their consultants. Each team must come up with a practical project concerning waste that is constructive and innovative.

Only 30 teams will be selected to join a three-day learning camp in Saraburi where they will learn related concepts and principles about sustainable waste management and witness the process at an actual site.

Each team will also receive a funding of 5,000 baht to develop their own project, however, only 10 teams will be selected in the final round in which they will have to present their project in front of a panel of judges at Chulalongkorn University.

The first, second and third winning teams will receive 30,000, 20,000 and 10,000 baht in cash, plus certificates, respectively. There are also two consolation prizes worth 5,000 baht each. The schools of each winning teams will be granted trophies while the schools of the other five teams will receive certificates.
