Adapting to the times, Playroom Café, the naughty Fifty Shades Of Grey-inspired speakeasy bar turns into café.
The Ekamai café, run by Jay-Sainisa Sangsingkeaw, has temporarily opened its doors as "Playroom Café", a luxuriously seductive and sexy café that is too hot to handle, full of whips, handcuffs and chains -- keeping true to itself.
Since most of the outdoor fun is put to a stop at 9pm, Playroom Café invites you to step into a sensual world during the day. The venue is more than just a living room and has been designed to be a playful space where people can enjoy crafted drinks and sumptuous snacks.
The menu at Playroom Café is in collaboration with contemporary French casual fine-dining restaurant Stage, offering freshly-brewed coffees (B70-120) or drip coffee (B160). If you're not into coffee, try the Iced chocolate (B120), Iced matcha latte (B120) or Iced Thai milk tea (B100). There are also other refreshing mocktails, inspired by Playroom's signature cocktails, such as Porn Star, Golden Chain, Close Your Eyes, Imprison, Shackles, and Bullwhip (B180).
If hunger pangs take over, the homemade pastry selection is worth a try. Scones (B350) or signature desserts (B390) from Stage's Dessert Trolley are available. There is a snack menu with the likes of the signature Truffle hot dog (B280) and Wagyu burger (B450).
