Patek Philippe has responded to women's needs since 1868, when its first wristwatch was made for Countess Koscowicz of Hungary.

Fast forward to the end of the 20th century, the Twenty~4 collection was launched by the Swiss brand in 1999.

The name refers to the 24 hours of women's busy lives, portrayed in the digital campaign "Rituals Of My Life".

Considering their hectic lifestyle, Patek Philippe positioned the Twenty~4 as a companion for every occasion, at work, at home or time-off. Moreover, the design had to complement the wardrobe, whether casual wear, business attire or evening gowns.

Housed in a cambered rectangular case, the Twenty~4 quartz "manchette" model has appeared in various versions. The new model boasts a chocolate-brown sunburst dial, illuminated by two vertical rows of diamonds that highlight the distinctive two-tier shape of the rose gold case.

The dial's clean layout gives centre stage to the applied Arabic numerals and trapeze-shaped hour-markers as well as the rounded baton-style hands, all in rose gold with a luminescent coating.

In response to women's increasing interest in mechanical movements, Patek Philippe introduced the round Twenty~4 Automatic in 2018.

The dazzling design features a double row of diamonds in a "dentelle" (lacework) framing the dial.

Two new variations have been added to the collection. The one in a steel case stands out by its olive green dial with a sunburst decoration, white gold applied Arabic numerals and hands with a luminescent coating, ensuring excellent legibility.

The second rendition in rose gold extends the warm sheen of its case to a dial gilded with a rose gold sunburst, and to hour and minute hands, as well as applied Arabic numerals, fashioned in the same precious metal.

A transparent case back reveals the painstaking hand-finish and decoration lavished on the self-winding movement, which offers a maximum power reserve of 45 hours.

The latest 36mm Twenty~4 Automatic timepieces feature a bracelet with a patented fold-over clasp, whose four independent catches ensure optimised security when opening and closing.
