Having launched her own beauty brand in 2013, Charlotte Tilbury MBE has constantly worked her magic on developing cosmetics.

Enriched with skincare ingredients, the latest full-coverage Airbrush Flawless joins demi-matte Magic and Light Wonder foundations, offered at the British brand's Make-up Revolution Bar.

"This is an innovation foundation that I have been working on for a very long time," she said of the Airbrush Flawless Foundation. "As a make-up artist for over 27 years working with foundations, I wanted a heavy coverage but it has to feel light as air."

Various skincare technologies, such as Replexium, MossCellTec No. 1 and AirCool, are combined to achieve her goal.

Developed by BASF, Replexium is a skin-bioavailable synergistic complex of two patented peptides.

Charlotte Tilbury Beauty previously featured the anti-ageing ingredient in skincare products such as Magic Serum Crystal Elixir and Magic Cream Light. The innovative brand then used the groundbreaking complex in formulating make-up.

MossCellTec No. 1 is a hydrating compound obtained from biotechnology and an exclusive moss extract, while AirCool containing menthol lends a gentle, refreshing cooling sensation to the skin.

A blend of natural ingredients, C.T. Defence helps limit skin's exposure to pollutants.

Tilbury's magic matrix of ingredients powers the skincare foundation, whose full coverage addresses acne, rosacea and pigmentation.

"You tell me whatever your skin wish, the foundation does it," she enthused. "Even if you have beautiful skin, it just give you that kind of poreless, flawless-looking finish."

The Airbrush Flawless Foundation comes in 44 shades, following Tilbury's skin algorithm based on a study on 650 women of different ages and skin tones, to decode the flawless match of foundation shade to the skin.

Finding the perfect one for your skin is based on an understanding of overtone and undertone.

The overtone is what you see in the mirror, and the undertone is determined by the colour of the veins on the underside of your wrist. If they are bluish-purple or greenish, you're on the cool or warm side, but if they look bluish-green, you are likely to be neutral.

The shades range from the fairest with pink undertones and medium with yellow olive undertones to tan with red undertones and deepest with neutral undertones.

Alongside the new foundation, five other products are used in the Airbrush Flawless make-up routine.

A setting spray is spritz in the first and final steps to prime the skin and set the make-up, while concealers are used to neutralise dark circles and brighten the under-eye area.

Application of the foundation is followed by mattifying the skin with a micro-fine powder, and giving the skin a sun-kissed finish with a bronzer.

The Airbrush Flawless make-up collection is available at Charlotte Tilbury counter and pop-up at Paragon and The Emporium department stores.
