AP House by Audemars Piguet made its way to Bangkok with the opening of its first branch in Southeast Asia when Gaysorn Village hosted the "Horological Society Of Gaysorn" event, which combines several luxury watch brands under one roof.

Led by Gaysorn Property Group's chief executive officer Charn Srivikorn, the luxury mall also launched its new Gaysorn Diamond Lounge for privilege members, where Patek Philippe Customer Service was highlighted. Celebrities like Dr Ruengyos Sanpotch, Kanlayanat Chaikityingjaroen and Kris Narongdej appeared on a red carpet and admired the display of elegant timepieces from Jaquet Droz, Grand Seiko and Cadeaux.

The highlights were the Spring Drive Eichi GBLT998J chronograph from Seiko Grand. Priced at 1,563,000 baht, this rose gold model is influenced by the first Eichi model, which was released in 2008, to celebrate top-class Japanese craftsmanship. Focusing on simplicity, it comes with a hand-painted white porcelain dial and markers in dark charcoal to give a warm look.

Priced at 24,065,400 baht, Jaquet Droz's Tropical Bird Repeater features a hand-engraved and hand-painted white mother-of-pearl dial and black onyx subdial, adorned with 18ct red gold. It boasts a minute repeater, hand-winding mechanical movement and automaton animation with a peacock, tropical leaves, hummingbird, toucan, dragonflies and waterfall, while the power reserve is 50 hours.
