To fuel imaginations, Swiss watchmaker Swatch is inviting people to explore the cosmos through its Space collection that takes inspiration from its iconic spacesuits worn by Nasa astronauts.
The design reveals the next chapter of bioceramic materials, a mixture of two-thirds ceramic and one-third bio-sourced plastic, to bring a silk-like and resilient touch to your wrist. There are five new models. The Big Bold Chrono Extravehicular timepiece boasts some design elements of the iconic white spacesuit, which was first worn in 1983 by legendary astronauts Story Musgrave and Donald Peterson to shield the Sun's radiation.

The white chrono features a 47mm bioceramic case and bio-sourced plastic glass. The chrono timer is not set to the usual full hour marker but 10 seconds prior and highlighted in red as a nod to the final countdown to liftoff. The crown is positioned at 3 o'clock alongside two pushers, while the red and blue strap loops, hands with Swatch glow and Nasa logo complete the design.

The orange Advanced Crew Escape Suit, also known as the Pumpkin Suit, inspires the Big Bold Chrono Launch watch. The bright orange colour of the watch mirrors the highly visible suits worn by astronauts for the ascent into space.
Featuring a 47mm bioceramic case and bio-sourced plastic glass, its crown is positioned at 3 o'clock alongside two pushers, while the blue and white strap loops and silver-coloured dial come with hands with Swatch glow and Nasa logo.

The Big Bold Jumpsuit echoes the everyday go-to blue jumpsuits astronauts wear for press conferences or working in the Nasa facility. The blue watch features a 47mm bioceramic case, bio-sourced plastic glass, and the crown positioned at 2 o'clock. The white strap loops and hands come with Swatch glow and Nasa logo.
Rounding up the Swatch Space collection, the Take Me To The Moon Gent chronograph showcases a transparent case and the Space Race New Gent line comes with a mirror-effect silver-coloured dial. Young fans can check out the Flik Flak 3-2-1 Lift Off watch that features a Plexiglas glass dial and textile straps. Prices range from 1,200 baht to 5,600 baht.
