This month, Prada heads to the beach by recreating a breezy and carefree ambiance at Iconsiam in Bangkok.
Showcasing a selection of original products recalling a particular environment, Prada Outdoor is a series of spaces dedicated to emotions conveyed by four settings: Garden, Coast, Mountain and Snow.
The coast-theme collection is displayed amidst beach huts, surfboards, sand dunes and a lookout tower at the Prada Outdoor Pop Up, which occupies Iconsiam's Thara Hall until Sunday.
With black nylon detailing, Re-Nylon gabardine beachwear and terry bathrobes can be paired with various items such as mini poplin garments boasting iconic bayadere stripes, minimalist crocheted tunics or shirts and pyjamas with contrasting double prints.
The men's ready-to-wear pieces include terry garments with a casual 50s look, regular and Bermuda shorts made of stretch poplin in bright block colours or with an iconic striped pattern, and extremely lightweight perforated nappa bomber jackets.
Bags come in various sizes and materials, such as multicoloured cotton drill and woven straw shopping bags, and mini bags made of soft terry with an embroidered logo.
The Italian fashion house has also equipped beachgoers with balls, inflatable rings and mattresses, terry beach towels and cushions, as well as a range of sports accessories including surfboards, snorkelling masks, flippers and water shoes.
