Asava goes masculine for its latest collection

For women to express their different styles, four concepts have been created for the Asava X Gentlewoman collection.

Asava's founder Polpat Asavaprapha deems that clothing should never be a confusing obsession or pointless possession, but should be a platform for women to express their individuality. Likewise the accessible fast-fashion brand Gentlewoman empowers women to be confident, striking and tasteful.

The collaboration remains true to Asava's DNA by featuring the brand's classic pieces such as cape shirt, cape dress and shirt dress along with signature techniques, accents and contrasting elements in the colours and use of masculine silhouette for womenswear.

The new ready-to-wear collection comes under the four concepts: Chiffon Army, Stripe A Lace, Bouquet Stripe and Chinoiserie Garden.

Featuring stripe chiffon as the main fabric and with certain designs enhanced by pleating, the Chiffon Army pieces exemplify Asava's understated elegance and classic styles. Key items include a one-shoulder top, cape shirt and cape dress accented with bows.

Delicate lace along with fabric such as pinstripe meets a masculine silhouette in the Stripe A Lace, whose key look has a robe jacket matching pants with lace accents at the hemline.

Stripes bloom in the third concept, whose everyday wear features stylish yet simple silhouettes. The Bouquet Stripe pieces include shirt dress, short pants, printed T-shirt and casual long skirt.

Likewise, floral motifs blossom in the Chinoiserie Garden, whose wardrobe features safari shirt, jacket and a halter neck dress with ruffles.
