This Saturday is the last day to join "Let's Done, Get Fun, Run Like A Bird", a virtual run held to raise funds to help local communities.

Organised by Kuakan Dee, an online shop that promotes local community products, the race is open to interested runners as individuals for the 12km race, in pairs for the 24km race, and as a team of four for the 42km race.

They can run anywhere and anytime using a gadget to record the total distance until Aug 3 and submit the results by Aug 4.

The registration fee is 355 baht per individual (including a running shirt, a cloth bag and a fabric mask); 690 baht per pair (including two running shirts, two cloth bags, two fabric masks and two 100 baht promotional codes to be used at Kuakan Dee shop); and 1,320 baht (including four running shirts, four cloth bags, four fabric masks, and four 200 baht promotional codes).

Every 55 baht from each registration will be used to purchase local community products which will be further developed into cloth bags for the race kits.

There are no medals or trophies for the winners but cotton caps for the first 30 individual runners, T-shirts for the first 15 pairs of runners, and polo shirts for the first seven teams of runners. Every participant who completes their goal will also receive an e-certificate.

The race is one of 24 virtual races under the "Give And Get" project which aims to support and further develop local products in many communities during this economic crisis.
