Sirivannavari Bangkok has recently unveiled "S'Craft Craftsmanship 2021", an exclusive silk handbag collection that highlights fine Thai craftsmanship and traditional textile aesthetics, at Iconcraft on the 4th floor of Iconsiam.

The new collection from HRH Princess Sirivannavari Nariratana Rajakanya's fashion label not only preserves traditional Thai textile wisdom but also leverages the use of Thai silk and brings the beauty of the intricate fabric into the limelight.

For over 16 years, the Princess, who is creative director of the brand, has been using Thai fabrics and local materials in her collections. She has also studied textile traditions and heritage from local communities to preserve precious Thai wisdom.

For this special occasion, she has bestowed Thai silk from her personal collections, which come from many local textile communities, and has designed each bag in a distinctive fashion. The bags are created with intricate craftsmanship by local craftsmen and decorated with meticulous embroidery from the Sirivannavari Embroidery Atelier and Academy.

This fine work takes Thai silk to the next level, in a contemporary and international spirit. The use of traditional fabric in this collection also supports local textile communities and villagers across the country, creating jobs and help them earn a better living.

The collection features many unique designs such as Bag with Tassle, Pyramid Bag and Signature Bag.

Another highlight is an everyday bag inspired by a traditional bucket bag and adorned with delicate French embroidery details by Sirivannavari Embroidery Atelier and Academy. The bags incorporate the brand's signature "S" and Peacock badge that harmoniously combine traditional and modern styles.
