Ten years ago Elemis opened its first spa in Southeast Asia at the St. Regis Bangkok. It was only last year that the British brand opened a counter at Paragon department store, to further reach out to consumers.
Elemis Thailand celebrates the first anniversary of its retail operations with "The Power of Pro-Collagen" campaign.
The brand itself dates back to 1989, when it was founded in London. Elemis then began its spa and retail business on board cruise ships in the 1990s and opened its flagship day spa in prestigious Mayfair in 2001.
The experience in facial services gave the spa brand first-hand knowledge on different complexions and tailoring treatments.

When diving off the coast of Malta, a French cosmetic scientist noticed how the brown algae grew on a shipwreck while the wood under the seaweed was preserved. This finding led to its skincare applications.
Elemis was the original investor in a seaweed farm that provides the brand with the strongest brown algae from the deepest water reached by the least sunlight.
