More than 2,000 handicraft products from Sai Jai Thai Foundation under the Royal Patronage are presented during the "Sarn Sai Yai For Sai Jai Thai 2021" fair which kicks off today and runs daily from 10am to 8pm until Sunday, at the Lifestyle Hall, 2nd floor of Siam Paragon, Rama I Road.

Shoppers will enjoy various kinds of handiworks from the latest collections that have yet to be presented elsewhere, with all proceeds from the sale going to the foundation to support war veterans.

Highlights include hand sanitiser containers featuring artwork by HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn; 12-inch hand-painted ceramic plates with horse motifs inspired by HRH Princess Bajrakitiyabha Narendiradebyavati's passion for horse riding; and hand-painted ceramic plates in tiger motifs to welcome the Year of Tiger in 2022.

Other favourite items are silk satin scarves with wild bird prints designed by Nithi Sthapitanonda, a national artist in contemporary architecture, and floral print scarves that come with matching handbags.

Different styles of handbags, pouches and pillowcases made from donated quality silk are available alongside favourite leather products such as handbags with hand-painted floral motifs and hand sanitiser holders.

The collection also features hand-painted insulated lunch bags, table runners with beautiful floral motifs, engraved glassware and vases, air-purifying plants of various kinds, miniature gardens and gardening tools.

Also expect to see daily demonstrations on tablecloth hand-painting while tablecloths and insulated lunchboxes can be made to order with selections of flower motifs that represent birthdays and birth months. They are perfect as gifts for special persons.
