With new Covid cases soaring every day, it's a better idea for cinephiles to stay home and enjoy the "My French Film Festival" online which has brought 30 of the best of new-generation French films to audiences worldwide, until Feb 14.

The 12th edition allows audiences in Southeast Asia including Thailand to watch both features and short films, free of charge. They are divided into seven thematic sections that reflect the diversity and vitality of French-language cinema.

-  "French & Furious" presents a selection of films that are dynamite in the new-generation auteur cinema scene. They include Teddy by Ludovic Boukherma and Zoran Boukherma, The Monopoly Of Violence by David Dufresne, The Demons Of Dorothy by Alexis Langlois, Horacio by Caroline Cherrier, and Love Hurts by Elsa Rysto.

-  "Bold Youth" offers different perspectives on the unconditional energy of youth in All Hands On Deck by Guillaume Brac, Gallant Indies by Philippe Béziat, Oldschool by Yasmine Bahechar, and The Right Words by Adrian Moyse Dullin.

-  "Troubled Identities" gets the audiences to search for a sense of self in Nadia, Butterfly by Pascal Plante, Playlist by Nine Antico, Madly In Life by Raphaël Balboni and Ann Sirot, and The Ugly Ducklings by Anton Balekdjian.

-  "A Cinema Of Desire" offers a little tour of awakenings to love, desire, and sensuality in The Lover by Jean-Jacques Annaud, Honey Cigar by Kamir Aïnouz, Beyond The Horizon by Delphine Lehericey, Hold Me Tight by Léoluna Robert-Tourneur, and Moon by Zoé Pelchat.

-  "Night Tales" focuses on what we become between nightfall and dawn. The line-up includes The Night Doctor by Elie Wajeman, Dustin by Naïla Guiguet, Malabar by Maximilian Badier-Rosenthal, and Little Bear by Nicolas Birkenstock.

-  "Voyage, Voyage" offers a chance to discover new horizons in Calamity by Rémi Chayé, Skies Of Lebanon by Chloé Mazlo, Erratum by Giulio Callegari, and Omnibus by Sam Karmann.

- "Kids Corner"' brings a selection of silent animated shorts directed by promising young directors fresh out of film school. They include Astralium, Mido And The Instrumals, Eye For An Eye, and Treasure.
