Be among the pioneers to witness a glimpse of the futuristic digital world with all the first-hand experiences at "The Metaworld By Zixel", an NFT exhibition where you can immerse yourself in simulations of the metaverse. To commemorate the launch of Zixel by Zipmex -- a curated NFT platform, Zipmex hosts Southeast Asia's first-ever metaverse exhibition on the 1st floor of Siam Paragon, which will run till Mar 20. Zone I: Into The Metaverse and NFT Gallery
Shinning through the entrance with the glittering light, an open-ceiling projection chamber displays an ambience of what's beyond the physical world, alluring all visitors who walk passing by. Step inside the first zone of The Metaworld by Zixel and you'll be impressed with the first-ever, tangible NFT Gallery, where you can discover 'phygital' experiences with an IRL gallery displaying NFTs curated by Zixel.
Taking centre stage is pop-rock band Getsunova's debut NFT collection, "The Thailander", poking fun at typical Thai pop culture through 2,000 pieces of humour-filled parodies. Plus, the LCD bar on the top of the gallery corner will keep you updated on the price of Matic token, which is the cryptocurrency for purchasing NFTs on the Zixel platform. Dying to scratch the itch of what's inside the metaverse? Check out game stations where you can immerse in the globally recognised digital world Decentraland, as well as Thai-owned platform Brandverse.
Zone II: NFT Factory and Crypto Arcade
Fancy being an NFT creator? Come by the NFT Factory to customise your own virtual avatar through simple steps. If you need more time to decide how to pull off your digital glam, check out an edgy digital-fashion catalogue curated by IWANNABANGKOK, creators of Thailand's first virtual influencer, Bangkok Naughty Boo. Visitors can strike a pose that gets transferred to their avatar into an NFT art through motion capture technology. Then, your debut NFT creation will pop up on the four-sided LCD screen of the Metaworld gallery. You can also collect your very own NFT on MetaMask wallet by signing up at the Experience Centre. Another highlight is the Crypto Arcade, where you can hand-crank virtually for a gashapon. Each capsule will drop physical and digital prizes, namely commemorative merch from the partnering brands or even crypto tokens.
Zone III: Experience Centre
On the way out of the Metaworld, you can step up your 'Gram with art and light installations, with the most photogenic one being a mirror tunnel that is installed with lines of pink light bulbs. Walking through the end of the tunnel will bring you to the Experience Centre, which will definitely snap you out of the appealing, vibrant ambience of Metaworld with a relaxed, black-and-white interior. The Experience Centre is where you can open accounts to collect the prize of a digital coin you earned from Crypto Arcade and the NFT creation you made at the NFT Factory. You can attend exclusive talks and learn more about the core of cryptocurrency, the metaverse and NFTS with Zipmex staff, which will also facilitate your registration step-by-step.
