Virtual job fair targets tech sector

Good news for job seekers wishing to work with top tech companies in Asia. More than 1,000 tech and digital companies are looking for staff at "Asia's Biggest Virtual Career Fair" which is running until Friday.

Held under the "Lets Get To Work" campaign by SEEK Asia, the parent company of JobStreet and JobsDB, the online job fair gathers various Thai and international companies such as Lazada, GoJek, Carousell, Grab and Foodpanda.

In keeping with the digital transformation trend, both employers and candidates from Thailand, Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines and Hong Kong can seamlessly participate virtually in this innovative event via mobile and computer-based platforms.

They can connect to the virtual platform in real-time via Live Chat and online interview schedulers for on-the-spot recruitment.

To find their ideal jobs, candidates can use additional functions such as Career tools to gain insights on emerging roles and salaries in tech companies.

There are also online seminars where representatives from leading tech and IT companies will be sharing a wealth of information, new perspectives, and current technology trends. They will also provide insights into exciting tech and IT careers.

Highlight topics include "The Hottest Technology Trend To Watch For In 2022" by Chanon Trising from SCB 10X today; "How Do We Adapt To The Future Workplace When The Metaverse Arrives?" by Supoet Srinutapong from Advanced Info Service tomorrow; and "Armed With Digital Skills: Get Ready For A Digital-first Workplace" by Ome Sivadith from Microsoft on Friday. The 90-minute streams will start from 6pm on all three days.
