The finest assortment of Thai agricultural products are presented during "Kud Thai Market 2022", which is running at the Quartier Avenue, ground floor of EmQuartier, until tomorrow before it will move to four selected branches of The Mall in Bangkok.

Held to promote local goods by modern farmers and entrepreneurs with creative thinking, the market brings over 250 product varieties guaranteed for their quality, freshness, taste and hygiene.

Products from young farmers include organic produce and eggs from Pathomsook organic farm, premium Ibaraki melon from Wasana Melon Farm, organic Bengal currants (or carissa carandas) from Sirisompon, Akihime Japanese strawberry from Essence Farm, Rakjung 100% organic rice, and natural eggs from Be Indy Country Farm.

Prepare to shop for scented candles, cutting boards made from tamarind wood, flip-flops, fresh vegetables and rice from Pila Farm Studio, a community enterprise that has turned agricultural products into organic lifestyle products.

Other interesting items are vegan plant-based probiotic healthy drinks, as well as a range of home decor items such as mats, wall hangings, table cloth, coasters and wallets -- all handcrafted from natural materials from Thorr.Th.

This is also a rare chance to shop for authentic Thai products from the best sources such as Incha beef, which is known for its tender and fragrant beef with beautiful marbling; free-range baby chicken with tasty dense meat from Klongpai Farm; and the king of salted fish from Kulao Thong Takbai By Mae Pan in Narathiwat province.

For lovers of premium fruits, Tanaa Fruits gathers premium durians of rare varieties such as Mednai Yai Prang, Thongyoy Chat, Katoey Kua San, Chompusri and Kob Na San while Siam Golden Fruit brings Monthong durians from the best farms across the country. Also, expect to see Koh Sukorn watermelon (Boeing variety) grown on the beach in Trang province, Petch Klong Hat roseapple from Sa Kaeo, and Siam ruby pomelo from Nakhon Si Thammarat.

Other highlights include Cha Fung or aromatic tea made from local wisdom of villagers in Chiang Rai, and beef stick with salt and chilli sticky rice from Ping Fai By Neur Camp Fire.

Many of the products will also be available at all branches of Gourmet Market from May 19 to June 15. The market will then rotate to The Mall Bangkapi from May 26 to June 1, The Mall Tha Phra from June 2-8, The Mall Bangkae from June 9-15, and The Mall Ngamwongwan from June 16-22.
